- Description: A first page is a beginning. We can share the practical care that helps a small project keep finding its way.

It feels good to have a page we can finally send to a friend. Then ordinary life carries on: a new idea needs a paragraph, a picture changes, or a setting needs a little attention.

We want the help around a project to have room for that everyday life. The small questions after a first launch matter as much as the exciting plans before it.

## Make the practical parts understandable

We can talk through where a website lives, who can edit it, and what a backup is for. We can write down who is looking after each part and where to ask for help. Nobody needs to know all of this before coming to us.

A small project might need a simple page and occasional care. Another might need more help over time. We can decide together what is useful now and return to the conversation as things change.

## Keep room for independence

We would like people to feel more comfortable with their own projects as they go. A short guide, a shared walkthrough, and clear account ownership can help. If a project needs a different home later, its content should be easy to take along.

## Help that can carry forward

We want to give a beginning some support before asking it to support us. We only ask for something back once the project succeeds. We talk together about what success and giving back could mean, leaving everyone room to learn.

This note describes the direction for se.city. We would agree the practical hosting arrangements with each real project.
