Concept project: Forma is an imagined maker's portfolio. Its directory status is an illustrative example.

There is a story in the making

A useful object often starts with a sketch, an odd piece of material, or a first attempt that goes somewhere unexpected. We would like a portfolio to leave room for those beginnings as well as the finished work.

Forma explores a simple home for objects and their stories. A few photographs and a little context could be enough to help someone understand the care that went into a piece.

Start with what is already here

We could begin with a handful of pieces and the pictures already available. There is no minimum collection to reach before a maker deserves a place to share their work.

Ghost would make adding another piece familiar: open the editor, add a few pictures, and write what feels useful. We could help with the layout and publishing routine along the way.

At the pace of the work

Some months bring new things to share; others are spent learning. The website can make room for both. We would keep it easy to return to, without turning a personal practice into another deadline.
