OUR SANDBOX. ROOM FOR A BEGINNING.

A place for your project to feel at home

We can work through the practical side together: somewhere for a site to live, help with the unfamiliar parts, and care as it grows.

Having an idea should not depend on already knowing how to run a server. We can help work out where a website lives and how to keep looking after it, in words that make sense to the people using it.

We can start with the questions

You may have a Ghost site, a few files, or nothing built yet. We can look at what is here and talk through the parts that feel unfamiliar. A basic question is a useful place to begin.

The practical help could include setting up a home for the site, connecting its address, keeping software updated, and planning backups. We would decide together what the project needs and who is looking after each part.

Help first, room to grow

Our starting principle is to give a beginning some breathing room. We help first, and only ask for something back once the project succeeds. We would talk together about what that could look like and what help is possible along the way.

We want the ongoing care to feel comfortable too. That means a clear way to ask for help, an understandable record of the setup, and an honest conversation if the project needs something different.

Your project stays yours

We would make account ownership, access, and taking a copy of the content easy to understand. We can help someone learn more about running their site, or keep sharing the practical work if that is useful.

This page describes our approach. Hosting arrangements and the help available would be agreed together for each real project.
